Some yacht charters are about luxury, and others are about adventure. And then there are the charters that blend both seamlessly into an experience that’s truly unforgettable. Our charter with the Rapp family was definitely one of those.

From the very beginning, this trip was destined to be special. Summer and Stever, the parents, brought the kind of rock-and-roll, adventure-seeking energy that made the entire journey a blast. Their spirit was infectious, and they led the charge in making sure their kids—Jude, Maddox, Brixton, and Stella—had the time of their lives. Let’s take you through some of the highlights of our incredible week together!

Rock-and-Roll Vibes with Summer and Stever

When Summer and Stever boarded the boat, we knew we were in for a fun ride. They were both up for anything—whether it was exploring new dive spots, jumping into water-sports challenges, or just enjoying the beauty of the Caribbean. Stever, in particular, was always at the center of the action, whether it was helping the crew set up a new activity or grabbing his guitar to strum a few tunes.

And speaking of tunes, the trip ended with an epic song that Stever wrote on the spot—about the entire adventure! He sang it with the family gathered in the cockpit before drop off, and it was the perfect reflection of how special the week had been. There was laughter, love, and a sense of pure joy that only a family like the Rapps could bring to the boat.

Water-Sports Enthusiasts: Brixton, Stella, Jude, and Maddox

The kids were an absolute joy to have on board. Brixton and Stella couldn’t get enough of the Seabobs. They zoomed through the water with the same energy and enthusiasm as the adults. They spent hours exploring the reefs, darting in and out of the waves like seasoned pros.

Meanwhile, Jude and Maddox, the boys, were on a mission to master the eFoils. With some hard bails and a few light beatings, they managed to get up! We couldn’t help but admire Maddoxs’ dedication—they were often the first ones in the water and the last ones out. There was no slowing them down, especially Jude with his camera skills, did we mention that he is an actual photographer?

Every moment spent on the water was a moment of pure excitement for them, and we loved seeing their faces light up every time they mastered a new trick or raced each other to the next cove.

A Rocky Start, But We Got Back on Track

As much as we’d like to say the weather was perfect the entire time, we did have a bit of a rough start. Early in the charter, we were hit with some unfortunate weather that forced us to make a few changes to our original itinerary. But the Rapp family handled it like pros—no one batted an eye. They rolled with the punches, and before we knew it, we were back on track and headed to some of the most amazing spots in the British Virgin Islands.

We ended up having an unforgettable last day in the United States Virgin Islands. It was a perfect way to wrap up an already epic week.

Pizza at Pizza Pi and Tattoos to Remember

One of the highlights of our trip was a visit to Pizza Pi, the famous floating pizza bar in Christmas Cove, USVI. There’s nothing quite like enjoying a fresh, hot pizza on the water while surrounded by crystal-clear seas. The kids got a kick out of watching the pizzas be delivered straight to the boat on a dinghy, and everyone was in high spirits as we all enjoyed lunch with a view.

Our favourite memory will literally stay with us forever, so we decided to make the trip even more memorable by inviting a tattoo artist to the boat. Yes, you read that right—a tattoo artist came out to our boat in the middle of the Caribbean, and all four adults—and two crew members—decided to get tattoos to mark this epic trip. It was a spontaneous and fun decision, and everyone left with a permanent reminder of the adventures we’d shared.

Memories that Will Last a Lifetime

From the lost carabiner to secret free diving spots off the beaten path, the Rapp family taught us that it’s not just about the places you visit—it’s about the memories you make along the way. We laughed, we adventured, we explored, and we lived in the moment. The combination of family, fun, and a little bit of rock-and-roll energy created the most perfect atmosphere for a charter.

As we wrapped up the week with Stever’s song and the Rapp family, it was clear that this was a trip we’d never forget. It was one of those rare charters where every single moment felt right, and the family made us feel like part of the crew.

Thank you, Rapp family, for an unforgettable adventure! We can’t wait to see where the next journey takes us—and hopefully, we’ll be sailing with you again soon!
