Some charters are about exploring, some are about relaxing, and some—like our recent journey with the Iqbal family—are all about fishing, fun, and family moments that will last a lifetime.
We had the pleasure of hosting the Iqbal family from America, including the parents, Anas and Staci, and their two teen sons, Cash and Miles, for a five-night adventure through the Grenadines.
From the very first day, it was clear this family loves the water.
Nick guided them through all types of fishing, from jigging off the ridges of the Little Savan Islands to trolling up the coast from sunrise to sunset, reeling in blue runners and barracudas. Night fishing off the boat brought even more excitement, with jacks seemingly jumping aboard straight from the school!
But it wasn’t just fishing that kept the family entertained.
Exploring the Tobago Cays was a highlight, where Miles mastered the e-foil in the crystal-clear blue waters. In a memorable moment, Anas even broke a shoe while saving Staci from falling into the water—classic charter adventure! Meanwhile, Miles made the most of the yacht’s AC all hours of the morning, sipping Fanta Orange and soaking up the view from sunrise to sunset.
Evenings aboard were filled with laughter and good food.
Everyone loved pizza, burger, and ribs nights, paired with fun rounds of “What the Meme?” and Uno. The family also enjoyed seabobing over the beautiful reefs of Bequia and exploring islands, including climbing Fort Duvernette and taking in the breathtaking mountain views of Saint Vincent.
Moments like watching Anas teach Cash and Miles how to dive into the water, or seeing Staci show off her incredible paddleboard balance in an empty bay in Canouan, made the charter extra special. It was a joy to witness such sweet family moments, combined with adventure, fun, and a healthy dose of competition and laughter.
In just five nights, the Iqbal family made memories that will stay with them forever—and for the crew, it was another reminder of why we love sharing the Grenadines with guests who embrace every moment, every sunset, and every fish on the line.
