16 December – Arrival Day & First Surf Stop

The Snyder family arrived into the BVI via St. Thomas and joined us at West End , excited and ready to kick off their island adventure. After settling in onboard, we set course for our first destination— Sandy Spit . With surf sitting at the very top of the priority list, we made a detour to Apple Bay , where the family enjoyed their very first surf session of the trip. What was meant to be a quick stop turned into a solid two-hour surf , setting the tone for the week ahead: lots of waves, lots of energy, and zero slowing down! As the sun set, we continued with a night sail to Sandy Spit . After a long travel day, everyone enjoyed dinner onboard and turned in early, ready for the adventures to come.

Cane Garden Bay & Island Nights

The next morning brought a few early risers up in time to catch the sunrise. After breakfast, we cruised over to Cane Garden Bay , where the waves had everyone in awe.

Craig and Kelson were the first to hit the water, spending a few hours surfing while Jennifer and the younger kids stayed onboard enjoying the Seabob . Before lunch, Koa decided he’d had enough of Seabobbing, grabbed his surfboard, and joined the action—straight in and fully committed. After a quick lunch, everyone headed ashore to explore Cane Garden Bay. Once the waves had been conquered for the day, it was time to regroup, freshen up, and get ready for the evening. We made our way to Foxy’s , where Craig and Jennifer wasted no time heading over without the kids for a bit of downtime. After dinner onboard, they headed straight back to Foxy’s to enjoy the night and soak up the island atmosphere.

Surf, E-Foils & Easy Island Days

The following morning started early as we moved back to Sandy Spit . Koa, Kelson, and Craig went surfing at Shark Alley , followed by breakfast and a visit to the small nearby Corona Island .

From there, we cruised across to Brewers Bay , where the younger kids had an absolute blast on the eFoil and Seabob. Koa quickly proved himself the undisputed king of the eFoil—mastering it in no time and making it look far too easy! We spent the night at Brewers Bay and after breakfast headed to Guana Island for a relaxed day of beach time, football on the sand, and a welcome break from boat life. After lunch, we repositioned to Marina Cay , where the family enjoyed some time at the resort. Craig and Kelson returned to the boat to grab their surfboards and headed out again—ending with Craig spotting a shark (but of course… he never revealed which kind !). That evening, while dinner was underway, the crew repositioned the boat to Trellis Bay so Craig and Kelson could catch the football at Loose Mongoose.

Spa Days, Sailing & Cooper Island

The next morning we returned to Marina Cay . Craig and Kelson headed out for another surf session while the rest of the group enjoyed a relaxing spa day at the resort—perfect balance of adventure and recharge. After lunch, we sailed to Little Harbour, Peter Island , a gorgeous spot for watersports and snorkeling. The following morning was full of eFoiling, snorkeling, and Seabobbing before it was time to set sail again. The sail to Cooper Island proved a little challenging—Craig became a bit seasick and retreated to the cockpit for a workout, while Kelson politely asked if we could sail straight instead of tacking into the wind… safe to say, sailing wasn’t their favourite part of the trip! Once we arrived at Cooper, everyone headed straight to the beach for burgers, followed by a visit to The Baths , which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Dinner that night was ashore at CocoMaya —a charter classic and always a winner.

Anegada, Pirate Nights & Christmas Magic

The next day brought the longest sail of the trip , all the way up to Anegada . After lunch on the island, the family explored on a land tour with Mini Mokes , soaking up the sunshine and island vibes. Craig and Kelson later returned to the boat and went surfing at Raffling Point , although Craig decided the waves were a bit too intimidating that day (a rare moment of caution!).

The following morning, we sailed to Leverick Bay , enjoyed lunch, and explored the shops ashore.

Craig also had a quick visit to the clinic for stitches after a small onboard mishap—nothing too dramatic, but definitely a classic “charter moment.” That evening, everyone dressed up for the Pirate Show , bringing the fun energy back in full force. The next morning, Koa and Kelson went surfing while Craig and the rest of the group explored the surrounding homes. We then moved to Bitter End , where lunch was served and the kids turned the floating dock into a full-blown competition arena—competitive energy at an all-time high! Christmas Eve dinner was spent ashore at Saba Rock , making it a truly special and memorable evening for the whole family.

Christmas Day & The Final Stretch

Christmas Day was celebrated at Diamond Bay , where the family enjoyed a festive feast and soaked up the holiday atmosphere in the most beautiful setting. After lunch, there was time for a quick surf and a visit to the Bubbly Pool . Still full from the holiday meal, everyone opted for a light snack for dinner—keeping things easy and relaxed.

The next morning, we returned to Sandy Spit for snorkeling and one last surf session before heading to the Soggy Dollar Bar . Lunch was enjoyed ashore, and we spent our final night there, wrapping up the trip in true island style. On the last day, we cruised back to Cane Garden Bay , where the kids enjoyed beach time before spending the final night near Sopers , ready for disembarkation.
