The charter kicked off in St. Thomas, where our guests arrived in style — all wearing matching shirts and walking down the dock full of excitement for the adventure ahead. After a quick safety briefing and going over the house rules, lines were untied and we were officially underway. Our first stop was St. John, where we needed to clear out of the USVI.
On the way there, most of the men decided it was the perfect time for an afternoon nap — a calm start before the real fun began. Once cleared, we headed toward West End, BVI to clear in again. A bit of paperwork and running around, but eventually everything was sorted. Not the most glamorous start to a charter, but all part of the process! With formalities out of the way, we cruised to Diamond Cay for our first night.
Dinner was served, and soon after, the party kicked off. Let’s just say — they proved age is only a number. However, once midnight hit, silence fell over the boat and everyone was fast asleep. The following morning we repositioned to White Bay, where guests spent the entire day ashore enjoying the beach and lunch on land. Around 16:00 we had to fetch them, with John attempting a dramatic roll into the dinghy and a few guests clearly having enjoyed their drinks a little too much.
From there we moved to Great Harbour where the group headed to Foxy’s for dinner. Back on board, we celebrated the Agees’ incredible 50-year wedding anniversary — a very special moment for everyone. The next day began with breakfast and a sail up to North Sound. Not long after picking up a mooring ball, the excitement to explore kicked in again and the group wanted to visit Saba and the yacht club. After a quick lunch we ferried them across. They had an absolute blast at Bitter End and returned just before dinner.
Later that night, they went back out again — this time with John proudly wearing one of our e-foil safety helmets as if it were standard nightlife attire. Plenty of laughs were had. The morning after, we sailed to Anegada. Guests had breakfast and then disappeared for the day to explore the island, only returning around 20:00. They spent the entire day off the boat and came back full of stories — endless stories. But according to them, Anegada was their favorite island so far, which made it all worthwhile.
Next stop was The Baths. After breakfast we sailed over, and interestingly, all the men decided to stay behind while the ladies went exploring. The boat quickly became incredibly quiet — so quiet that every single man fell asleep. Peace and tranquility at its finest. Once the ladies returned, we continued on to Peter Island, Little Harbour, where everyone enjoyed their first snorkel of the trip. Sea turtles, rays, and constant “come look at this!” moments filled the water. The following morning we moved to Norman Island and visited the caves before sliding over to The Bight for lunch.
From there, guests headed to the famous floating bar, Willy T’s. Kathy — lovingly dubbed the “problem child” of the trip — decided to add some extra excitement by flashing before jumping in and swimming back to the boat. Definitely a moment that won’t be forgotten anytime soon. That evening we had dinner on board and celebrated multiple birthdays, turning the night into one big festive gathering.
Laughter, cake, and good company wrapped up the celebrations perfectly. On the final morning we made our way back to West End to clear out. Paperwork completed, bags packed, and memories made. All in all, it was an unforgettable charter filled with laughter, adventure, naps, celebrations, and a few wild moments in between. A fantastic group of guests and a trip that will definitely be talked about for a long time.
